We are have set up an AVA Print Club this year, engaging with the students who are interested in printmaking, we are going to organise and work towards print projects for AVA. Currently, we are working on two print projects; first, an artist publication project, aiming to publish around 50 artist books by selected students, alumni, teaching staff and artists in residence at AVA by July 2020. Second, a print edition project, where we invite 15 AVA alumni, staff and a local artist to create an edition of 50 prints box sets as a collaboration. The projects will be displayed as part of our open portfolio during IMPACT11.The open portfolio seeks to provide a platform for students to present their printmaking practice to a broader audience. It also aims to encourage students to interact with their audience and exchange ideas and knowledge with other printmakers, locally and internationally.
