Print Art Research Center (PARC) opened its doors to the Korean public on December 12th, 2012. We started as a fine-art printshop that specialised in etching and stone/plate lithography, and became one of the largest printmaking workshops not only in Seoul but in South Korea that also offers studio rental and classes for the public. After we moved to our newest location in Seongsu-dong, we now offer the biggest printshop space. We are one of the few printshops that collaborate with artists for edition prints in all techniques.
Our printshop works alongside galleries and national museums to show prints from all around the world while educating the Korean public about printmaking. We coordinate group shows, tour shows and exchange exhibitions to get more people to know about international printmakers and artists while showing younger Korean printmakers and artists to audiences abroad.
In this open portfolio opportunity, we would like to showcase works from artists who currently work and explore their art with our printshop community in Seoul, South Korea. We would like to show works that represent different techniques and tell different stories to the viewers through their works.
