Originally from BC, Heather Leier received an MFA in Printmaking from the University of Alberta in 2016. Since then she has had solo exhibitions at the Ottawa School of Art, The Lake Country Public Art Gallery, Martha Street Studio, Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art, and the Society of Northern Alberta Print Artists. Her print work has been presented throughout Canada and the USA, as well as Spain, China, Poland, Taiwan, Bulgaria, Russia, Japan, Mexico, and Egypt. She recently relocated back to Alberta where she is an artist and Assistant Professor in The Department of Art at the University of Calgary.
