Artist Biography
Andrew Gunnell is an Australian artist with a practice located at the intersections of print, photo and paint. He is a Lecturer in the School of Art at RMIT University.
Themes informing his practice include the threshold between analogue and digital printmaking constructions, the digitisation of natural phenomena and the internal and external depictions of time through an image. His work is held in several public and private collections, including the National Gallery of Australia, Asia Pacific Photographic Archive, Hong Kong Open Print Workshop. He has also been a committee member of the Print Council of Australia since 2005.
