Kerrie Taylor is a contemporary mixed media artist specialising in printmaking and fibre arts. Kerrie’s work is a response to the beauty and intricacies of nature. Her love for the environment is deepened by her experience living with Aboriginal people of Northern Australia. The hidden secrets of mangroves and the cultural teachings of an Aboriginal elder provides Kerrie’s fascination with mangroves.
Printmaking and weaving are applied to produce works depicting complex mangrove environments.
