David Faithfull is an artist, printmaker and curator based in Edinburgh, Scotland. He studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, before living in Copenhagen for 8 years. He currently lecturers at the University of Dundee and Edinburgh College of Art.
His practice involves a broad range of processes, from installation and site interventions, to Artists Books, multiples and murals. Current investigations include alternative printmaking processes and materials, palindromic landscapes, environmental issues, alchemy and astronomy.
He exhibits internationally and has work in collections including Tate Britain, the V&A and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art . He has also been a board member of several prominent Scottish Arts organistions, including Edinburgh Printmakers, ASCUS (Science & Art) and the Society of Scottish Artists.
