EGIDIJA ČIRICAITĖ publishes books, exhibitions, and book related projects. Although firmly based within contemporary artists’ books practice, her varied interests can be loosely divided between book history and contemporary metaphor theories (in linguistics). Her work is held in a number of collections, including Centre international de poesie (Marseille, France), Museum of Fine Art (Boston, USA), Tate Special Collection (London, UK) and The Art Institute of Chicago.
Egidija is part of the British Library’s artists’ books initiative, organising Artists Books Now events. She is research assistant at Artists’ Books and Medical Humanities project, University of Kent. Egidija is currently working on PhD at the Slade School of Fine Art and Linguistics and Psychology at UCL.
